[SOLVED] How to import .PPD file into Printer Configuration

I used to have 3 different PPD sile for my Epson Prinet (1 for standard printing, one for Photo printing on A4 and the last one for printing on A6). Using these 3 different PPD files gave my wife the quickest method to correctly setup the printer depending on the task.

This was working till I completely reinstalled my Kubuntu. I currently have now 10.10

I googled but couldn't find any working method to import my customized PPD files into 10.10

Could someone please let me know how I could do it ?
    Thanks !

the .ppd file is a "driver" file to run the printer, you set that when u install a printer. if you need a settin then you should chage the settings based on the print ob not the driver (when printing look for opitons see if you find what u need w/ any of the 3 drivers)

if the kde printer setup is not working correctly for you try useing the cups set up open a web browser and navigate the "localhost:631" (no "s) when prompted for the passwork use your usr/pass.

I would say you Are right. Believe me...I had 3 .ppd file working under kubuntu 10.4,
3 different printer profiles for the same printer. There should be a way to manually setup additional printers, but....how?
      Thanks
