    Virtual Desktop Question

    Hello:

I like having two totally independent virtual desktops.
How can I configure the desktop so that the bottom row of open applications ONLY shows the open applications for the desktop that I am on.

I tried "configure virtual desktop" and checked the "different activity for each desktop" however this does not seem to help.

I'm pretty sure that I had it set up this way in the past.

    Running:
    Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS \n \l

    lsb_release -a
    Distributor ID: Ubuntu
    Description: Ubuntu 10.04.3 LTS
    Release: 10.04
    Codename: lucid

    Platform Version 4.4.5 (KDE 4.4.5)

    Thanks
    B

I am assuming you mean the taskbar if so, You need to edit the settings for the taskbar.

      Excellent. This does the trick.
Task Manager Settings -> General -> Filters "only show tasks from the current desktop"
