    Amarok refuses to start... [SOLVED]

amarok V2.3.0 (Lucid Lynx Kubuntu), refuses > to start and reports that:
"/usr/lib/libxml2.so.2: no version information available (required by /usr/lib/libstreamanalyzer.so.0)"
It seems to me that is probably some side-effect of ldconfig not doing whatever magic it is that ldconfig does.
Is there some sort of solution to this problem?
Reinstalling the libraries and amarok did NOT solve this problem!

Never mind, I fixed the problem! 8) There were old libraries located in /usr/local/lib from the Karmic Koala
installation (ldconfig is your friend!). BTW, the Karmic Koala upgrade path died and I was forced to use a 10.04 CDROM to re-install the Kubuntu OS (but I did not re-format the /usr/local partition -- too much of my own irreplaceable stuff located there!)
I'm leaving this posted in case someone else is having problems getting amarok to work (hint: run it from a konsole so
that you can see what type of error messages get generated!)

Just waiting for someone to help me out with the libmtp8 problem now...
