How to edit grub to add an xp installation

Hi all, I'm running Kubuntu 10.4. I cloned an old xp installation I had on a partially destroyed disk in the first partition of my actual disk. I can access the files but I want to edit grub so that I can double boot to XP and linux. Any ideas on how I can do that?

Are you using Grub Legacy or Grub2? Makes a difference in how you add the menu entry for Windows.

        Snowhog:

        grub-install -v gives

        Code:
        grub-install (GNU GRUB 1.98-1ubuntu9)
So I guess this makes it GRUB 2 right?

I just tried that, it found some kernels but not xp. Confirmed with reboot.
