I think I'v encountered a bug in parted ...........
I have a new 4Gig USB (duracell)stick ............when I plug it in it's accessible through dolphin and I can right to it just fine......BUT if I try to fire up gparted or parted thay crash if it's pluged in.
if not pluged in thay both will run...........but pluging in the 4Gig (duracell) USB stick and refreshing the device list will crash both.
my other USB sticks 2Gig and less don't do this...........in other words no crash if the other sticks are in or out or plugged in and devices refreshed.
this is the error reported by parted
I found a bug report on launchpad about it but couldn't log in and add a confirm for some reason....probably to much free beer and a password prob,
