    Kernel Versions and Grub

A the moment, my Grub menu lists 5 kernel versions.... 2.6-32-21 through 25, along with the Recovery mode entries for each version.

Question 1... are there 5 kernel versions taking up space on my hard drive, or only the left-behind menu entries from each time the kernel updated?

If the kernels are all there... can I delete all but the most recent to regain space? And where are they

Question 2(or 3?) How do I edit the Grub menu to get rid of the listings for the earlier versions.

    Thanks
    Bob

    Re: Kernel Versions and Grub

Run your favourite package manager and uninstall the old kernels. The grub menu will be automagically rebuilt. You should probably keep one previous "old" kernel as a fallback in case the latest and greatest kernel has problems.
