I used usb-creator-kde to write a Kubuntu iso to a USB memory key following the instructions at
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/In...n/FromUSBStick
After a bit of searching in my boot menu, I found the device and it booted the "live" version fine. To see what would happen, I wrote a file to the home of user "ubuntu". When I went to re-boot the same system, it was found to be invalid.
To me, the interest in such a thing is to take my system and files with me. So what do I have to do in order to be able to save my files to the stick?
I'm guessing I have to create another partition for /home.
Thanks in advance.
