bugs in kubuntu-ppa packages -- where to report?

    bugs in kubuntu-ppa packages -- where to report?

    I've found a bug in KDE 4.5.1 from the kubuntu-ppa; it was reported upstream (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=249980), but apparently it's a packaging problem according to KDE devs.

    Where do I report this bug? I went to the launchpad page, but I don't see anywhere to put in a bug report for the PPA.

    you will need a launchpad account to make bug reports, and you should see the report a bug link on the main page of the ppa.

      I have an account. I go to the PPA page and click "bugs" and it takes me here:

      https://bugs.launchpad.net/~kubuntu-ppa

      I don't see where to report a bug.

          It's not a packaging problem. It's also reproducable on Arch, OpenSUSE and from what I heard also on PCLinuxOS. All with KDE 4.5.1 So it's no use reporting it to the Kubuntu-devs.

            @rog131: Thanks, I don't know why I couldn't locate that page on my own. I didn't know about the "edge" site, I was going to the normal ppa page.

            @Vistaus: that may be, but downstream devs are probably in a better position to assess that and convince KDE devs that there is an upstream problem, if indeed there is an upstream problem. It may just be that something has changed in the default config options and nobody downstream knew to adjust. Who knows?

              you can also link the kde bug number to the Launchpad bug
