[SOLVED]KDE 4.5.0 - KMess leaks too much memory

As I stated above KMess doesn't work in KDE 4.5.0 as it did in 4.4.x and I wonder if anyone knows if there's any patch or bugfix available to solve that issue. I know it's nothing related with spam since kopete lets me connect to my account and everything works fine there.

Thank you in advance for reading.

No problems here with KMess 2.0.x git in KDE 4.5.0

Are using the Git-version or the 2.0.x from the repo's? If from the repo's, please update to the latest version: https://launchpad.net/~kmess-package...e/kmess-stable
If still a problem with either the latest version or the Git-version, please file a bug report @ http://www.kmess.org/board

Re: [SOLVED]KDE 4.5.0 - KMess leaks too much memory

Well, it now seems that the kmess issue is solved in my LL KDE 4.5.0 box. Now I'm running KMess 2.0.4 but the previous version, 2.0.3 didn't work on KDE 4.5.0 but it did in KDE 4.4.x. As a matter of fact 2.0.3 is still working properly on my LL KDE 4.4.5 box...

That's correct. 2.0.4 fixes many bugs, includin one that fixes the bug to run on KDE 4.5
