Site is "Unknown host" from Linux, fine from Windows

    Here's an odd one.

My college's Moodle setup is causing me headaches. From a Windows machine, it opens fine. From Linux machines, I get "unknown host" or "server not found" errors.

This includes my current machine, which is dual-boot - fine if I open it from Windows, nothing but errors in Linux.

I've tried changing user agents in Firefox, but nothing doing.

It's particularly confusing because the problem seems to arise at the DNS lookup stage, and this is the only site that causes this problem (DNS is not a problem for the whole rest of the internet that I've checked in tihe past few weeks).

I'm running Lucid with KDE 4.5, and this happens in Firefox, Chrome and Konqueror

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Perhaps the Windows setup is using a different nameserver. If they are different, then try the Windows DNS on the Linux side.
