1. I have upgraded to KDE SC 4.5 and plymouthd won't stop after kdm starts,
and it is eating 20% of "wakeups" (as reported from powertop).
After inspecting /etc/init/plymouth-stop.conf I have found that it should quit after kdm is starting, but it still do some calculations...
2. Is there a way to disable or remove plymouthd? It seems that mountall depends on it, and also kubuntu-desktop depends on it, so I see no way to disable plymouthd gently.
Any suggestion?
