Well not 100% true.
When I switch on my PC it will start..then hang on the plymouth screen, you know, the one with the Kubuntu logo and the dots underneath.
It will stay like that indefinitely or until i press the power button which makes the pc shutdown, all properly too, linux actually shuts down before the PC powers off so it's working to some extent.
I then switch it on again and the system will start up fine and work perfectly.
It's probably something simple that I am overlooking, but I had a look in the logs in /var/logs/ and couldn't see anything, is that even the right place? I've been away from linux a while and was using ubuntu until recently switching back to Kubuntu (I took a while to warm to kde4 :P love it now!) updated to 4.5 last night and this happens?
Any advice would be great
