[SOLVED] Dolphin or Konqueror wont open files after upgrade

After upgrading to KDE 4.5 Dolphin will not open anything.
"The process for the file protocol died suddenly"
I have tried opening as root but get the same answer.
I can open some files with the quick access browser but the ones I need I cannot get to .
Is there a solution to this or is it a bug, would appreciate any help

Have you rebooted?

Have you done a

sudo apt-get install -f

?
