if you look up at the Home button (in either mode) you will spy a little downward pointing arrow - check that out

I don't get that arrow on either my Hardy machine or my Jaunty machine.

But the OP and Vinny do It is a sub-menu of sorts with a link to either the Web homepage or to the user's $HOME, depending on which profile is being used. In web Browse mode, it puts the $HOME folder icon, in File Manager mode it puts the web homepage icon. Oddly I cannot see a way to put an icon for both side-by-side, which might be something vinny might be able to use

As to the home in file-manager mode, well Home means different things to a web browser and to a file manager. if you look up at the Home button (in either mode) you will spy a little downward pointing arrow - check that out

BAWwwhaha ok got it. if in file moad it's the URL if in web moad it's /home ....... I missed that obviously

It worked. going to Settings>Configure Konqueror>Home Page:

about:konqueror

I believe i got this to work by closing my FireFox and reopening it, otherwise it will just redirect to Kubuntu.org. SOLVED

My spelling errors were 'Konsole' code, so the spelling has to be perfect or the terminal wont recognize it, so that was actually important. *Thumbs up*
