Kaffeine 1.0 final is out since 31 may. when is available for kubuntu 10.04 ?

I suspect that officially it won't be- it will probably make its first official appearance in 10.10.

Someone appears to have done a ppa for it,

I use Rog131's ppa, and as far as I can see, it's safe. You can find the latest version of kaffeine there.

https://launchpad.net/~samrog131/+archive/ppa

Just add it to your sources list.

For lucid:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:samrog131/ppa

Then do an apt-get update.

If Rog131 has it in a ppa, then I would go for that over any other.
