Well after installing final version i found that ktorrent is broken anyway. It is starting but no menus or right-click menu. I found on ubuntuforums.org this topic:

and this hint:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nuovodna/nuovodna-stuff
sudo apt-get update && install ktorrent

worked for me

Lack of informations. For solution is needed a version of installed *ktorrent* packages, printout from Konsole, list of enabled repositories, etc. Probably you have bad mix of repositories. Not all ppa-packagers are using same name and dependencies for packages of same application.

The "nuovodna-stuff" ppa solution worked for me too. But before installing ktorrent, I noted that one "libktorrent" file was showing as installed. So I removed it first and then selected ktorrent and the plasma widget ktorrent.

I am not sure whether this will help others who are facing problem with ktorrent, but though to share my experience here.

@arindom: It does help, but is not needed anymore since the bug seems to be fixed: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/616677

Thanks Vistaus. Yes it looks like the bug has been fixed and we can expect it to be removed with the next update.
