[SOLVED] Digikam on KDE SC 4.5 Beta 2 ; missing toolbar?

Hi Folks, I upgraded to SC 4.5 Beta 2 and it has generally been a "good experience". However, I seem to have struck a problem with Digikam. The main toolbar seems to be missing so you cannot "do anything".

Has anybody else had this trouble? I've tried blitzing the .digikam files in .kde; uninstalling and re-installing. No luck! It works fine on my 4.4 system (separate disk).

The problem was a corrupted configuration file.

When I un-installed Digikam and reinstalled I thought I had removed all the configuration files in .kde/share/apps/ .....

But there is another configuration digikamrc file called: ~/.kde/share/config/session/digikamrc). This file had somehow got corrupted. Don't know how

Anyway I deleted it and ran Digikam, whereupon it regenerated a new set of config files. So, now all is great, and has emphasised my view that KDE SC 4.5 is excellent?
