    Problem with KpackageKit and aptitude upgrade fails

    Hi
    KpackageKit automatic upgrade fails to install upgrades.
    Returns the message "the software update failed"

    running aptitude update gives the following message all the rest of the sources work O.K.

    Unable to connect to archive.getdeb.net:http

    aptitude safe-upgrade fails with the following message

    146 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.

      Still leaves the dpkg parse error.
