    Two panels at bottom?

    Hi!
I am using top and bottom panels on the desktop. Is it possible to move top panel down, right upon the bottom panel?
When I tryed to move it, both panels could to be only at the same position, and this is really bad..

It appears to me the panel must be "attached" to a screen edge.

Can I ask what exactly you're trying to accomplish?

With widgets - they don't have to be on the panel - you can stick them on the desktop...

I believe there is an option setting for the Panel to have it 'float' - not be attached.

Snowhog: Where can I find this option?
Oshunluvr: I want widgets in panels to not overlap them by maximized windows.

          Hello,

I have the same question with iX. How could I get two panels at bottom? (for example, one panel only contains task manager, the other contains all other widgets)

          Thanks.

If you want your panel to always be visible, even when you have a window maximized, select "Always Visible" in panel settings.

I was unable to make a panel "float", but I was able to have two panels on the same desktop edge by making them less than full width. They were side-by-side.
