Open KPackageKit. Click on Settings > Edit Software Sources

On the Kubuntu Software tab ensure all the items are checked (you don't have to check the Source code item unless you want to download source files for compilation).

On the Other Software tab ensure that http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu lucid partner is checked.

Then check that you have the following packages installed:

      flashplugin-nonfree
      flashplugin-installer
      konqueror-nsplugins

Here, on my Lucid OS, I have no problems with Flash. I visited www.adobe.com and had no issues viewing there site.
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.
