Setting how often security upgrades run

How can I set how often and at what time the system security upgrade runs (the letter "i" in the tray)? It seems to be running daily. Thanks for any tips.

You can do this in Software Manager (KPackageKit), go to Settings > Edit Software Sources > Updates. You can choose what type of updates you want to receive, how often and what action to perform, download, install, notify.

It's set to "Daily", but it runs every few minutes lately...

Seriously, I've set it to "every 2 days" (a little earlier during the movie I'm still watching) and it's already run at least twice since then.
