I'm not quite sure how best to describe this issue, but let's have a go...
I have a panel at the bottom of my screen that's just a taskbar for switching between running applications -- all the launchers, sys tray, etc are in a panel at the top. The taskbar has an incredibly annoying habit. When I left-click on an application in order to switch to it, that application will be displayed, but then when I move the cursor off the taskbar, the display will often (not always) switch randomly to some other open application.
I've tried fiddling with every mouse, touchpad, and taskbar setting I can find. No joy. I assume it's a problem with the taskbar, because application switching using alt+tab works fine.
Any ideas? Thanks!
