    Dragon Player doesn't work

Please, excuse me for my English...
I have a problem with Dragon Player: when it plays some .flv files, it sounds very bad, awful, and I don't know why, because with the same files KMPlayer works well.

Somebody told me to put GStreamer instead of Xine as multimedia backend, but doing this Amarok playing .mp3 writes something as "Amarok can't play mp3 files, please check the engine, and read the guide". So, I prefer to return with Xine backend, and Amarok ok, even if Dragon Player does'n work, because however I have always my KMplayer for those .flv files...

Is there a way to make "happy" both those KDE applications (Dragon Player AND Amarok)?

    Thanks...

You could try kaffeine which is a very good video player for kde and also uses xine. I've always had better results with it
    than with dragon player.
Ya hear that? That's the blues callin' baby.

Thanks everybody for your answers !

Yes, in fact now I use KMplayer either Kaffeine for video files and DVD, while KMplayer for mp3 and Amarok for mp3 and CD audio: it's OK, everything works... but, so I wonder why KDE developers feeds Dragon Player too .
However, now at least I know that it isn't a problem only for me.
