"Open as root?"

I'm sorely missing the "Open as root" function that was present on the Konqueror context menu under Kubuntu 8.04.

I'm not finding anything about how to get this feature back in KDE 4 (Lucid). Does anyone know where to find such instructions?

I am relatively new to Linux, but quite experienced with DOS and Windows.  I'm comfortable editing things like fstab, etc., but I need specific instructions of what files to edit and what to add.<br /><br />My system is Kubuntu 10.10, using KDE 4.5.1.

Install Rog131 PPA:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:samrog131 sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install kde-service-menu-rootactions

Your beloved Root actions are again available in Konqueror and Dolphin. Life is good. 8)

Windows no longer obstructs my view.
