    Update:

    I found out what was wrong. The problem was nvidia-settings. Nvidia-settings was changing my gpu speed and everytime it did my screen would flash. I looked for a way to turn this off but I could find a one. So I un-installed it and rebooted and it has not done the flashing since. This was a week ago and it has not flashed once.

      I read here the other day that you're kind of forced to reinstall nvidias graphics drivers after every single kernel update...
      Multibooting: Kubuntu Noble 24.04
      Before: Jammy 22.04, Focal 20.04, Precise 12.04 Xenial 16.04 and Bionic 18.04
      Win XP, 7 & 10 sadly
      Using Linux since June, 2008

        I was until I added a ppa. Now there is no problems.
