After trying out some different language settings, I had multiple languages in my KDE menu and panel widget menus. So I did a clean install. I then re-installed French and added it as a language at a lower level priority than English (UK) and English (US) in the hope that this way the language would be available to applications, but not used in any menus. Unfortunately, this turned some menu items French again, and this effect remained, even after removing French from this list.
I now have a mixture of French and English menu items, and am running out of ideas for solutions.
Any ideas what is going on here? Is anybody else encountering this bug?
