I mean that there are some trouble with dependencies, but I am not sure - is it my fault or the try to install is too soon for now?

I think it must be too quick!
I had a few things update fine, but a lot of packages held back.
When I tried a dist-upgrade, iget the following

I would like to hold onto this longterm release till the next LTS... and I would like it to run smoothly and work as though they shipped it aka default setup.

However I would like to have the most stable kde experience...

So my question is... will Kubuntu eventually release the KDE updates into the LTS with out the need to add ppa's to it?

While there's no news item, I did perform a successful upgrade an hour ago with no dependency problems and there's been no extra updates since.

First impressions - stability and quirks definitely seem improved. Konqueror is awesome.

This is just another "me too". There were no issues during the upgrade and post-upgrade everything appears stable.

Maybe spoke too soon. Earlier today VLC media player had an update; I installed it. Later I upgraded KDE. VLC now give a segmentation
fault. Uninstall, re-install still receives a segmentation fault.

I guess that I'll wait a bit longer before activating the ppa - I have it ready - for KDE 4.4.3. I like my spanking new Lucid OS. Would not like to break it too quickly after having installed it.

I updated to KDE 4.4.3 last night. Went fine. No problems with what I use.
