I can't seem to Pidgin to work in lucid. It's working fine in Hardy. The pidgin window opens but does show show buddies . Both YIM and Irc show up but It doesn't seem to be connecting, show available with waiting to ...... that's all I see. I've done a complete removal and then reinstalled, still no worky. I then installed the same version I use in hardy but get the same thing.
Any ideas?
