SOLVED Panel missing after adjusting height. SOLVED AND THANKS!

    AMD64bit Quad 9600 w/4gb ddr2 sdram.

Since the upgrade to 10.04, the mouse lags when dragging objects. I was adjusting the height of the panel (I keep it at the top of the screen) and the delay of the mouse caused me to move it up too far. When I released the mouse button, the panel was only about 3/16 inch high. I also keep my menu icon on the right side of the screen for personal convenience. The menu icon became very small and the acorn in that area was even smaller, so small that it could not be seen. I attempted clicking in that area many times trying to get lucky on hitting the tiny acorn so that I could activate the height adjustment but was unsuccessful. I removed the panel, thinking I could reinstall it with normal size.

I am now at a point where the panels that I attempt adding do not accept the plazmoids when I try to attach them. Is there a way to remove the whole plazmoid application and reinstall with the default settings or repair the problems I have created?

The reply re: plasma, plasmoids and short how to recover from this forum corrected my problem. Thanks Showhog, much appreciated.
