[Solved]Java install... trying.

I have tried various things... using some commands found on peoples websites dedicated for installing on lucid. only to receive errors.

Searching through the stupid list in kpackagekit...

Can anyone help this tired fool with a proper sudo command?

and then... opened up the software sources and had to enable the check box thingy next to that source and did it again... then it worked.. yeh i can sleep now... sigh
