Can't login after upgrade to 10.04

I am getting the error message when kde starts : "could not start D-bus. Can you call qdbus?"

Qdbus results in "qdbus: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libQtDBus.so.4: undefined symbol: _ZN11QVectorData8allocateEii"
    Any solutions?

I'm no expert or even a 'non-expert' but perhaps reinstalling dbus and dbus-x11 may do the trick

fxf, it may help to refresh your KDE configuration
      from command line:
      Code:
      mv ~/.kde ~/.kde-OLD
then log out of KDE and back in again.

        Hello fxf,
how did you solve this problem?
I 've got exactly the same problem.
I've tried some thinkgs, like the suggestion of rfakhrai but that did not help.
I've alse created a new user but trying to login as that new user result in the same error message: "could not start D-bus. Can you call qdbus?"
What about the reinstal of dbus? Did you try that?
