[Bypass] Could no use newly created user account

Just upgraded, successfuly it seems, my laptop from Karmic to Lucid then I created a new user with the System configuration > User manager. But when trying to log in with that new account I get an empty desktop with a window asking for kstartupconfig4 and sometimes a black screen with this error message "glib-warning getpwuid failed due to unknow user id (0)"...

any idea please

I added system administration privilege, logged in to that user account configured it then removed the system administration privilege then it work almost perfectly now...

I say almost because I still got the "glib-warning getpwuid failed due to unknow user id (0)" sometimes... when deconection from sessions...
