For some reason ubuntuone does not want to work on kubuntu 10.4 after the installation. I think I have all the dependencies but still does not want to work. Any advice?

Re: ubuntuone problem
Wait for Apachelogger's GSOC project to port U1 to Kubuntu?
do remember that original code you are using has not been updated in a while, and probably is not quite compatible with current kde/qt/etc right now

Re: ubuntuone problem
I can't wait for the KDE-version either. For now, you'lle have to start gnome-keyring-daemon from a terminal, followed by the command u1sdtool -c
Then you are logged in to Ubuntu One from your Kubuntu. Most important laptop specs (this is my main computer, with Kubuntu on it):

4096MB RAM (DDR2)
500GB Hard Disk
ATI Mobility Radeon 4570HD Videocard with 512MB GDDR3 RAM, up to 2280MB VRAM
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo-processor T6600

OS: Kubuntu 10.10
