Seems Firefox now is very very slow to load any web pages. I tried konquerer and it opens web pages fast. I reinstalled firefox but still the same slow browser. I tried a fresh install of 10.04 and still slow. Tried to install a different version but all of firefox are the lastest

This is from an OpenSuse site, but it likely works as well for Firefox in Kubuntu: Disable IPv6 for FirefoxWindows no longer obstructs my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.
