10.04 dolphin crashes

Hi

I have a couple machines running Lucid 10.04. This one:
Asus eeePC 1005PE is now (after a recent reinstallation)
having dolphin crashes. Others are ok so far. This one
was ok before (all running 10.04).

I can find no relevant posts. Help?

One suggestion was to start dolphin from Konsole.

The startup does not inspire confidence. So maybe someone
can help from just the dolphin startup messages in bash.

After a day or so, without applying the above fix:

Dolphin stopped crashing.

Go figure.
