Dbus Upgrade Question

I keep reading that the current dbus package (dbus < 1.3.1) is causing Dolphin slowdowns in 4.5.1. Has anyone installed the updated package that is floating around (https://launchpad.net/~aleksander-m/...us-development)?

I'm not having huge lag or frequent crashes in dolphin right now (I'm running 10.4 w. KDE 4.5.1), so I'm tentative about installing this package. Anyone have an opinion on this?

If (for you) it aint broke, don't fix it.
