I have just installed Kubuntu 10.04 on my Sony Vaio. After two re-installs I have finally arrived at a reasonable stable installation. I tried to restart my laptop by using the restart button from the menu and nothing happens. The shutdown button also does not work. I am able to restart and shutdown from the command line. Anyone have any idea how to solve this problem?
- If you have copied text output that contains formatting (colors, highlighting, etc.), please do not enclose it in QUOTE or CODE tags. Just right-click your mouse and choose "Paste Without Formatting" or similar (Paste as plain text).
