    Optical Drive Issues

I'm having some optical drive issues with my Lite-On iHAS424-98 Y. It's a 24X DVD and 48x CDR burner with Lightscribe. I know there's a bug logged about an optical drive issue with LL 10.04, but as long as I umount and eject with Dolphin, I'm working around that issue. This is different. Here's a syslog after I started watching a DVD (Rio Bravo) then stopped the movie, released it via Dolphin and then ejected the DVD via Dolphin:

    Code:

There are a lot of errors I don't think should be there. So what's going on and how do correct it?
