disable login password

I have recently upgraded to kubuntu 10.04. All is working fine. When I boot my computer I have to enter my password to complete the process. I would like to be able to just turn it on and go as I am the only one using this machine there are no reasons for password protection.

Hi John - you need auto login

At my work (XP) box right now so might not be 100%

kmenu/system settings/advanced/login manager/convenience and then enable auto login with you as the user.

That should solve it for you.
