Noticing now there are server kernel versions available. Just wondering what the real differences are.
Phoronix did a speedtest recently but IMO those things are usually not reflective of the real world use and vary greatly based on hardware.
So my questions are:
1. generic, preempt, server, rt, ec2 : what are the differences?
I'm not looking for a eight page dissertation, just the high points, thanks!
2. Is there any problem installing ALL of them on my daily user and trying them out?
