    GRUB

I dual boot my laptop between Kubuntu 10.04 and WinXP Pro. I also have a FAT32 partition on my hard drive to share files. Everything works fine but my point is that I have options when I boot. Whenever new linux headers become available, I install them. Since I dual boot the old linux headers always show. This is really only a cosmetic issue that I've gotten use to. I can manually remove the old headers. My default boot is always Kubuntu (current linux headers)

Is there a way that I can keep my boot options but always boot to Kubuntu without stopping at the grub menu? Like in windows where you can optionally hit F8 to get to safe-mode?
