    Boot hangs after fsck

I've noticed a problem: every time the system runs a file system check during bootup, the boot process hangs, requiring a CTRL-ALT-DEL to reboot. Can't get into any of the other consoles, or X. It just hangs after the message that the file system is clean.

I've noticed an occasional hang while booting to Lucid. It hangs at the plymouth screen so I can't tell where it hangs BUT it seems to happen after I've had to do a forced manual reset after my system locks up (don't get me started...) which make me think I might be having the same issue as you.

I'm only a week into Lucid so I'm still researching, but I've got several issues as yet unresolved.
