I use Kubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx.
While booting my plymouth Kubuntu Splash screen is unfortunaly not full screen:-(
I see black borders around the splash screen.
The Splash screen is at a resolution 1920x1080 on a 24 inch HD Monitor. and the monitor is connected via DVI.
The desktop after booting is also at a resolution of 1920x1080 and is perfectly full screen.
I did experiment with some settings and various resolutions, but unfortunaly no solution so far.
Does anyone know how to fix the problem? How to get the Plymouth Kubuntu Splash Screen full screen while booting?
