Just upgraded to 10.04. Applying updates and upgrades, etc.
AMD64 Quad 9600, nVidia 9600 Gforce, 4gb DDR2 SDram, SATA HDD's, ASUS BM
E: /var/cache/apt/archives/skytools-modules-8.4_2.1.8-2.2_amd64.deb: trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/txid.so', which is also in package skytools-modules-8.3 0
E: /var/cache/apt/archives/linux-firmware_1.34_all.deb: trying to overwrite '/lib/firmware/ea/darla20_dsp.fw', which is also in package alsa-firmware 0
I am notified of these problems when attempting to complete the upgrade. There are several changes pending but I cannot get past this one to complete the upgrade.
I tried sudo dpkg --configure -a which did not help. I do not have the experience to know how to fix the problem. TIA for any help.
