[SOLVED] KVpnc

Hi,
Since upgrading from 9.10 my VPN connection through KVpnc won't work any more. It worked perfectly before upgrade. Now it connects to the Windows server using pptp , immediately disconnects and then tries again - looping continuously as below:

I have the exact same problem. PPTP, connects and disconnects in a loop.

I am having no success finding information on this problem. Has anyone else experienced or resolved this? Are there only two of us?

Tried that - still the loop persists.

This is finally working for me.

Before upgrade to 10.04 I ran wicd instead of Networkmanager. The upgrade to 10.04 reinstalled (k)networkmanager and I tried to just not use it without any luck. Then I tried to remove wicd but that didn't help either. Finally a removed all the network-manager* packages and went back to wicd and now I am up and running with kvpnc again.

I don't now if it is due to fresh installations or in fact a case of incompatibility with Networkmanager but I am sticking to wicd - it's always made me happy - Networkmanager hasn't...
