[SOLVED] Upgrade to 10.04LTS: Windows Vista does not show up on the grub list

Hi!
I have just upgraded to Kubuntu 10.04 from 9.10. Now, my Windows Vista does not show up on the grub boot list.

Here are som info which may help to understand the problem:

I can see that there is a Windows Recovery Environment. Does this mean that I have lost all my documents there in Vista? And how to recover Vista and do the dual-booting again?

Don't claim to be the biggest expert on this but sda3 looks to me like it's the biggest partition suggesting that that is your vista installation.

If you boot into kubuntu, can you see your windows data? If so, this may be a case of grub getting messed up, rather than anything more sinister. If so, whilst I don't know the answer, there are others here who probably will.

I've just rebooted. I still can't see Windows Vista (loader) on the grub boot list: what I see is

Windows Recovery Environment (loader) (on /dev/sda3)

on the list. I am not sure if this is the right Vista loader: I don't want to mess up with the whole computer system.

SOLVED. I closed my eyes and rebooted using "Windows Recovery Environment (loader) (on /dev/sda3). Guess what? It worked! Usually I used to see (on the grub boot list) Windows Vista (loader), not Windows Recovery Environment (loader).
