so I've been running Kubuntu on Amd dual 2 ghz, 3 gig ram, Ati Raedon 4200 graphics series, and I've tended to have noticed that if you're playing a flash game on Firefox, or watching a video, and you change to a different page and come back it hangs afterwards and the whole video or flash game freezes were ever its at. it doesn't happen all of the time, just a lot, you have to refresh the page to get it working.
i don't know how to check much on here, as I'm not good at configuring or an expert at the terminal, any help would be much obliged.
I have experienced this, and it seems to be caused for me by visiting a web page that has embedded flash. I installed the flashblock extension and I have not had the problem since. I think that it does not like to have two running instances of flash at the same time. With the extension you can select which pages you want to allow flash to run on. With my rig, I would be listening to streaming audio, which I do a lot, and if I visited a web page with flash content my streaming audio would drop the connection. Hasn't happened since I installed the extension.
hmmmm i think i get what you're saying, and i havn't noticed any issues with it yet, idk yet though, cuz before it would only happen some of the time. so i'll make sure it's working correctly before i change this to solved. thanks though man. =)
