    [SOLVED] Network Management Disabled

So i made the machine suspend to RAM, then it crashed. Now i cant connect to the internet because the icon gives me the message: network management disabled

    I tried this solution:
    http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=87089

    But it just said
    service org.freedesktop.networkmanager does not exist

I have tried turning the machine off, but it didn't help

    edit:
    Found the solution

    Thank you!

    Code:
    rm /var/lib/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.state
    Did the trick.

Okay, that's great, but while I'm on my old computer system with access to the internet (have to reconnect monitor, and keyboard to new computer which has this network disabled problem)... all I want to know now is WHY? If there's a chance I can do something in Lynx to cause it, I would like to know what it is.

For me, too, after a reboot. Now firefox doesn't want to work offline every time it starts

        Thank you.
