I want to disable my touchpad, but all my touchpad settings are grayed out and it says that kde-config-touchpad package not found. Any help appreciated.

A little late and while I'm not sure it will work (since it was written for Maverick and there may be some dependency issues,) here is where you can download a copy of kde-config-touchpad. Just choose the one appropriate for your architecture, 32 or 64 bit.
