    [Solved] Wireless not detected

    Hello,

Another issue - installed kubuntu 10.4 on toshiba satellite c660D-14E screen 15.6".

Wired network detected and works, wireless not detected.

Found some suggestions to install ‘bcmwl-modaliases’ but it is installed there and up to date.

Any suggestions where to start from?

    Thanx in advance.

    Re: Wireless not detected

    Hi....

    Please post the output of...

    Code:
    lspci
Also, does Jockey (or "Hardware Drivers") offer any additional broadcom wireless drivers? You can see Ubuntu's version of this program here.

        Re: Wireless not detected

        Hi....

My mistake, I noticed the "Bcmwl" in your first post and assumed that meant you had a chipset from Broadcom.

Do the instructions here, particularly from High Horse or Andy, help at all?
